NOYCIA Awards presented in Chicago at the 2012 ASCO Meeting
THE NOVARTIS ONCOLOGY YOUNG CANADIAN INVESTIGATOR AWARDS
Dear Colleagues,
The 9th annual Novartis Oncology Young Canadian Investigator Awards will be taking place Sunday evening, June 3rd in Chicago, IL. The evening begins with registration at 6:30pm, and is followed by dinner and presentations from each award recipient.
NOYCIA is a national competition for residents, fellows, post-doctorate students or PhD candidates. Eligible candidates must be first author of an abstract accepted for the 2012 ASCO Meeting, be present at ASCO 2012 and be affiliated with a Canadian institution.
NOYCIA is dedicated to advancing the field of oncology through the promotion of research. In 2011, 40 abstracts were eligible, submitted and considered by the scientific panel. Following extensive and objective deliberation, ten Canadian oncology researchers were selected to be NOYCIA winners.
