The Awards evening has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Winners will be announced May 2021 and presented awards virtually. We expect our in-person NOYCIA event to continue in 2022.

If you have a questions, please feel free to write to us by clicking the button below.

In 2017 the NOYCIA organizing committee introduced a new feature at the event called the “NOYCIA Dessert Invitational” focusing on the theme Mentorship Matters.

When the event resumes in 2022, NOYCIA will offer an updated, new and improved version of this special feature now introduced as “Mentorship Matters.”

Offer mentorship opportunity to trainees who attend the NOYCIA awards dinner.

Provide trainees with the opportunity to network with key figures at Canadian cancer centres in a relaxed, informal social environment.

* Canadian oncology colleagues will co-host a table during the entire dinner. (In previous years this feature took place during dessert).

* Trainees from across Canada will be seated at your table.

* Trainees will have the opportunity to hear from the Mentors about career paths, programs and opportunities that their centres provide and to ask questions.

This is an opportunity for Mentors to pay it forward by sharing their career and research wisdom to the future generation of medical oncologists, to inspire and meet candidates seeking employment and to have fun.

Do you know any friends or colleagues that would be interested in submitting an abstract to NOYCIA? We are always looking for the best young oncology researchers to contribute to our annual awards.
